About us
Essentia Consultancy is led by two independent professionals: Harry van de Wiel and Gert Hertong. Depending on the nature, size and phase of the project, a larger project team can be formed consisting of specialists, project leaders, engineers and draughtsmen. We involve these experienced professionals from our permanent network. This means that it can always be scaled up according to specialism and as required. As a result, the team optimally matches the target and efficiency and quality are guaranteed.
Harry van de Wiel
With machine construction and operational management as a background, Harry is strong in translating (process) technical problems into functional, profitable solutions. By challenging suppliers, the client gets the maximum return from investments. He is perfectly suited to design and configure production lines.
Harry has been continuously working in the food industry since 1990 and therefore has a very broad process knowledge. He is the right person in both the design phase (engineering) and the management of the project
Gert Hertong
As an experienced entrepreneur and manager, Gert is strong in organizing and structuring (project) organizations and departments. He has a great deal of knowledge and insight into the financial, legal and business aspects of projects and business operations. Gert is technically and analytically well-versed and has good communication skills. His drive and result-oriented attitude ensures that he achieves good results quikly.
Management and consult for large investments and projects are the main activities of Gert. He has gained extensive knowledge and experience in the development, design and realization of factories and installations for the food industry.
